Where to go when Blockbuster isn’t cutting it….

So if you’re sick of waiting to browse the latest indie additions to Netflix or Blockbuster, you might be interested in heading to some of the local independent film theaters in the area.  Go to the Independent Film Theaters page and check out the map.  I compiled a list of theaters within driving distance, and there is a distance measuring tool that I added to the map so you can get rough estimates of mileage (since no one wants to burn too much gas if they don’t have to). 

Philly seems to be the hotbed of indie film activity, and the theaters there aren’t too far apart, but be sure to give Ritz Sixteen in Voorhees a shot before you head to PA.  I’ve been there and it’s a nice spot.  I even found one theater right over the bridge in Wilmington, and from what I gathered it looks like it shows its indie flicks on the weekends.  Enjoy!
